Graeme has appeared as a guest on various podcasts since leaving the world of law enforcement in 2021. You will find them all below, with stories of his time in the high pressure world of criminal investigations such as homicide, armed robbery, sexual offences and child abuse investigation teams (SOCIT) and arson. Some focus more on his policing career through to finding a new identity, a transition into the private sector (and small screen!), to navigating life with a mild post traumatic stress injury (PTSI).
'I Catch Killers' with Gary Jubelin:
'After 34 years in the police and 25 years in homicide, Detective Inspector (retd) Gary Jubelin is tracking down the detectives who inspire him, criminologists, lawyers, forensic experts and the odd hardcore criminal - to extract their tricks of the trade. Gary's guests reveal the untold true stories of Australia’s most terrifying crimes and insights into the criminal underworld that will leave you fascinated, on the edge of your seat and horrified in equal measure.'

Apple Podcasts, Episode 1: 'The cases that made Hunted's lead investigator'.
'Graeme Simpfendorfer first decided he wanted to become a cop when the bank he was working at was held up. Since then, he's worked in all areas of policing, from the armed hold-up squad to the Sexual Offences Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT). Graeme is now the lead investigator on the hit show Hunted.'

Apple Podcasts, Episode 2: 'On the trail of a two million dollar heist'.
Graeme Simpfendorfer tells Gary about the 2.4 million dollar Armaguard heist pulled off by the infamous 'Road Gang' and how a long-term investigation, Operation Octopus led to a breakthrough. Graeme also shares what it was like working the Black Saturday bushfires, and reveals the job that almost broke him.

'Naked City' with John Silvester:
Take a journey into the dark depths of the Australian criminal underworld with Australia’s most formidable crime reporter - John Silvester.
As told by legendary multi award winning Australian journalist and crime reporter, John 'Sly of the Underworld' Silvester, Graeme is a guest on the 'Naked City' Podcast. Featuring the almost unbelievable two part story of an infamous, organised and serious armed robbery syndicate terrorising Melbourne across multiple decades:

Apple Podcasts, Episode 1: 'A heist like a Hollywood movie: The hunt for the gym gang'
'Their heists were meticulous, and executed with military-style precision. And as soon as one job was done, they would disappear, sometimes for years. For 40 years, police have been in a cat-and-mouse chase with one of Australia's slickest armed robbery crews - a tight group of Melbourne mates who pulled seven intricately planned jobs over 24 years, starting in the early 1980s. Now, in part one of two episodes of John Silvester's Naked City, their full story can be told.'
Apple Podcasts, Episode 2: 'The inside man who turned on Melbourne's last great armed robbery gang'
'What he had was information on a notorious armed robbery crew, known as the gym gang, and he was prepared to talk, if the deal was right. He was The Driver, a trusted insider who turned informer on a gang that police still consider one of Melbourne's slickest. His information would form the basis of a police operation, codenamed Tidelands, which became a cat-and-mouse game straight out of a spy novel. Crime reporter John Silvester brings you the final instalment of a special two-part episode of Naked City.'
'Small Town Dicks': Yeardley Smith with Detective's Dan & Dave:
Another absolute highlight for Graeme was being part of the International smash hit Podcast, 'Small Town Dicks'.

Apple Podcasts: Season 10, Episode 4: 'The Gamble'
'This case takes us to Main Street, Small Town, Australia, where Detective Graeme is called to investigate an early morning blaze in the local business district. Fortunately, firefighters put out the flames before anyone is hurt, but the shops suffer extensive smoke damage. As Graeme picks through the debris, he discovers evidence that the fire was no accident. A bit of luck and good old-fashioned detective work help Graeme and his team zero in on the culprit.'

Apple Podcasts: Season 10, Episode 11: 'Moving Target'
'A gunshot rings out in the middle of the night in a small town in rural Australia. Detective Graeme is quickly on the case and soon learns not one but two additional drive-by shootings have occurred this early morning. Such things don't happen where he lives and all he has to go on is some grainy footage of a dark car out looking for targets.'

Apple Podcasts: The Crime Couch with Rochelle Jackson. 'A man of many parts' November 2023

'Graeme Simpfendorfer was working at a county bank when armed robbers busted in. As police dramatically arrested the offenders when they did a runner - Graeme knew exactly what he wanted to do. He joined Victoria Police "working the beat" across Melbourne, before becoming a detective.
The former Detective Sergeant joined the Homicide Squad before leading teams in the Armed Robbery Taskforce. Graeme then worked in Wodonga before retiring after 27 years. He's the recipient of the National Emergency Medal for his work in the Black Saturday bushfires. Graeme's the director of his own company, Peregrine Consultancy, been the Mayor (and Deputy Mayor) of Wodonga and also the lead investigator in "Hunted Australia" the reality TV program.
